The wordpress plugins I recommend to improve security are:

  • WP Security Scan
  • WPVN – Username Changer
  • Login LockDown
  • WordPress Firewall 2

The easiest way to install them is to go to the Plugins page on your dashboard, click “Add New” and search for them by name in the search box.
